About Me

Jeena Jacob holds a Distinction in Bachelor of Interior Design from Academy of Design, Yorkville University. Her first formal introduction to Interior Decoration was through a Bachelors of Family and Community Science. She was determined to acquire more knowledge, so she pursued a Masters of Family Resource Management with Interior Decoration and further completed a Diploma in Interior Decoration from New York Institute of Art and Design, formerly known as Sheffield School of Interior Design, where she received an Award of Merit for Excellence.

Jeena was brought up in a construction business family and that experience fostered a creative flair that grew into a passion for interior decorating. She assisted her father on residential and commercial projects in the Middle East and India, ranging from renovations to new constructions. She later spear-headed the Design Team for the kindergarten section of a prestigious school in Doha, Qatar.

After moving to Saint John with her family in 2010, she continued her passion for design by helping clients in Saint John, Moncton, and Fredericton areas to renovate and decorate their homes.  In 2019, she launched her own Design Firm, Ashiyana Interiors Inc., aiming to deliver projects that redefine luxury and functionality. She began looking for additional resources, especially a way to bring quality furniture, furnishings, and fixtures to New Brunswick.
